Veteran's Barn Door Project, Big Hole Valley Event

Through the use of therapeutic horseback riding, equine trainers use horses to reach veterans with special needs like  PTSD and TBI’s. It is known that the connection between horse and rider builds trust and with the proper instruction both balance and trust can help heal the mind.

The Veteran Barn Door Project is committed to bringing that balance and trust through horse therapy. Our mission is to provide the structure and the services through equine activities that can support the healing process for PTSD.

Steve DePalma is bringing in Natural Horsemanship trainer Greg Eliel to teach the clinic. (www.gregeliel.com). Greg is an expert equine teacher and  has been dedicated to a deeper understanding of the horse and and human relationship for over 30 years. A native Montanan, Greg runs clinics and programs that are focused on a deep concern for the well-being of both horses and humans. Greg's program has gained notoriety for achieving dramatic results through education, understanding, and self-awareness. His philosophy and methods are exactly what The Veteran Barn Door Project aspires to in helping Veteran's with PTSD. To register for this program you can click here to go to our registration form. If you need more information please call 802-917-3550 to talk to Steven DePalma directly.
